Romances Sengire is a 2012 Indian romantic comedy film written and directed by Kahaani Khatta Mehta. It stars Shah Rukh Khan, Swara Bhaskar, Arjun Mathur, Neha Dhupia, Sonali Kulkarni, Bobby Simha and Raghuvir Yadav. The film is produced by Sooraj Barjatya and Kiran Rao under their banner Vishesh Films, and features music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Swades is the Hindi remake of the 2005 Tamil film Anniyan. False Romances follows the story of Raghu (SRK), a young man who falls in love with a woman named Sanju (Srk), but is unable to express his feelings, and develops an obsession with her only friend, Naina (Shwara Bhaskar). His obsession grows, he becomes emotionally unstable, and he becomes unstable mentally and physically. As he tries to develop a relationship with Naina, Raghu slowly becomes emotionally and physically unwell.
Principal photography commenced in October 2010 in Dubai, UAE. The film was released on 24 January 2012. On 14 January 2012, it received the ''Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Male – Kannada''.
Plot
Raghu Malhotra (Shah Rukh Khan) is a studious guy, and a good dancer. Raghu goes on a vacation to Dubai, with his friend Ajay (Arjun Mathur), to be with his friends. He is influenced by a girl named Sanju (Swara Bhaskar), who speaks very openly and directly, as well as by her friend Naina (Neha Dhupia), who says she can't understand Raghu's obsession with Naina. Raghu is easily distracted by his friends and so his vacation is not very successful.
When Raghu's vacation ends, Naina is supposed to go to Dubai with her family. They decide to go on a holiday to Rajasthan. Raghu finds out about the trip, and convinces Sanju to go for a holiday with him. When Naina and her family find out about the holiday, they are very disappointed, because Naina has to attend a beauty contest and the family decides to leave for home. Raghu expresses his desire to be with Naina in India, and Sanju agrees to join him.
In India, they find a hotel near Naina's home. They spend the night together, and both Raghu and Sanju decide to get married. In the morning, Raghu wakes up next to Sanju, in their hotel room. Sanju explains that she's too poor to marry Raghu, and she wants to get married first, and then come to India and live with him. Raghu is disturbed 0b46394aab
